Happy New Year

Thanks for all the support through the year. It’s been a big year for me as I grow this little business of mine. This year has seen me doing more of what I love and even with me ending up in Kalbarri painting the biggest scale project I could have dream off in the midwest heat and summer storms and I loved every hot minute of it. Now after looking back on the year that has been, I’m looking forward to what the new year has to install for me. I have big plans and can’t wait to share them with you all. BRING ON 2018

And that a wrap!

Both for the last illustration of the year and for 2017. See you in the new year with exciting things to come 😉

merry Christmas

To everyone that has liked, followed and supported me this year thank you and have a very merry Christmas.

do i have time

Sneaking in a little double trouble before Christmas. Stay tuned to see if I finish it in time.

YES, WE DO!

Finally, Austalia has done it, We do. Everyone can get married! We put our hands up and they have been counted and love has won #loveislove

Done!!!

Here he is, some of you might recognise this furry pup. I have been commissioned to draw him before as a gift from father to son. However, the father fell in love with the first drawing and it now hangs in his office. So here is Benji’s second portrait.

we are getting closer

It’s coming along nicely though I do have this habit of leaving the eye till last so they don’t smudge. In the meantime, the animals always look a little ghostly 👻

I have a new toy 😍

And can I just say if you have never seen the beauty of #wacom packaging then please go live a little. The packaging alone was worth getting this beast of a tablet.

sneaky sneaky

You would never guess what the rest of my desk looks like while I’m drawing, got to love some sneaky framing.

lets see how this goes

I know if been absent here lately and I’m going to do my best to step up my game. Iv got a few things in the works, like this one. I’m trying my hand at a little video to show you guys the way I work an illustration. Fingers crossed it comes out halfway like I’m planning.

Lest we Forget

It is because of those brave men and women that we have what we have today. From the bottom of my heart thank you. Thank you to all those who have served, are serving and will serve. Thank you to those who have paid the price for our freedoms and to those who were left behind. And at the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them. ❤️

editing day

Sitting down to finish editing the photos ready to launch on Etsy soon. I’ve shown you guys this one a few time so thought it would be nice for you to see it through to the end.

Lexus Telethon Ball

Last night along side family and friends I attended the Lexus Telethon Ball. Giving a little back to help the sick kids of WA. PMH and Telethon have always been near and dear to many of us that attended last night. Touching our lives in different ways.
The last financial year was my best year so far as my own boss and enabled me to have this opportunity to support such an amazing event.

bread and butter

I don’t really do much corporate design work anymore but I do love a good photo shoot of fresh cards.

coming along

Finally making some headway the finished pile is growing.
The launch date it becoming real.

pulling on the heart strings

Working on this sign has brought up more feeling then I ever throughly it would but hopefully it will mean as much to someone on their special day as the thought dose to me.
This is part of the new range of wedding signs I’m working on.

New toy

I invested in a new camera to lift my game. Now I’ll be able to do proper time lapse videos to show case my working style and better photos of my work.

perth weather

While it’s cold wintery outside I’m all rugged up drawing.
